Type Market-Rate Housing
Size 5 Stories, 442 Units
The Concept Located in the Strip District of Pittsburgh, PA, along the Allegheny River, the development consists of 2 separate buildings which cater to two different types of residents: The Bridge Building (the southernmost) caters to young families with larger units while the Middle Building cater to single young professionals with its mix of smaller unit types.
The Bridge building is a wrap concept with Type III construction around a pre-cast concrete parking garage. The Middle Building is a Type III courtyard concept on a slab-on-grade.
Although catering to different residents, both buildings share amenities, with a Fitness Center, Club Room and Rooftop Lounge on the Bridge Building, and an outdoor pool lounge, and Management Offices in the Middle Building.
The River The development is located close to the Central Business District, making it a very walkable community, but the most prominent asset is the proximity to the Allegheny River, and the river walk and, bike paths, and park along its banks. The two buildings are separated by an entry plaza that provides pedestrians with a connection to the active Pittsburgh Riverfront.
